We love beautiful love stories here at Fleurissimo NYC. So, we were delighted when contacted to handle the wedding floral at Morrigan and John’s celebration. Morrigan is an Editor at the New York Times, and she’s had a beautiful family with John for two years. You can tell that their love for each other is genuine.
They now have a cute baby boy and decided to showcase their love. Their wedding took place at Sea Cliff Manor in August, and it was such a beautiful celebration. Here are a few words on how this celebration went.
The Planning Stages
As a NYC florist , we had no problem talking with this couple over Zoom because of the pandemic. During this meeting, we discussed what would be the suitable color scheme for their celebration. The final decision was for us to use the peach and burgundy color theme that you see here. It was the right decision as these pictures by the amazing wedding photographer: @pipergianforte show.
The Venue
If you’re looking for a unique wedding venue in NYC, you should check out Sea Cliff Manor. This water front venue has fantastic views of the North Shore of Long Island. It also offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for your celebration. Both are elegant and spectacular. They’ll look wonderful in your wedding pictures. Sea Cliff Manor also provides a fabulous chef that prepares mouthwatering cuisines and incredible wedding packages.
The Celebration
Morrigan and John chose to have a private wedding party. They celebrated with a bunch of the (Vaccinated + Tested) people who have been their rocks over the last several years. As their wedding florist nyc, we used Peach garden roses, peach spray roses, pampas grass, and peach. We also included white lisianthks, burgundy dahlia, Burgundy ranunculus, Burgundy scabious. Seasonal brunches, queen Anne lace, and Burgundy cymbidium we also not left out.
How We Did at Morrigan and John’s Celebration
We had a great time as the NYC Florist at this wedding party. Bringing the idea that this couple had to life is what we love to do here at Fleurissimo NYC. The florals complemented this couple’s wedding theme and created the perfect atmosphere at their celebration. Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day Morrigan and John.
